Pretty Deadly Self Defense incorporates modified techniques found across 11 schools of martial arts, from Ninjutsu to Krav Maga to Kung Fu and Tae Kwon Do.

 

We start with the very basic structures and help you find what's right for your body,

improving centering and structure to enhance balance and mobility.

Pretty Deadly Self Defense was developed as an answer to traditional, scenario-based self defense, and approaches self defense based on maximizing existing, natural reactions and responses to reduce training muscle memory for something new.

We find violence and physical conflict exhausting and dehumanizing. But we find learning and understanding how our bodies work through body dynamics, structure, balance and natural movement joyful and uplifting.
